Massage Services for Dogs and Horses

As well as our comprehensive physiotherapy and biomechanical analysis, we offer a mobile equine and canine massage service. Massage therapy can be beneficial to all types of horses and dogs, whether they are simply companions or sporting animals, even if they are not suffering from a diagnosed pathology. For horses, factors such as conformation, breed, discipline, age, saddle fit, farriery and rider asymmetry can also impact on the horse as well as the rider, whilst in dogs, a range of techniques can be used to provide pain relief and manage chronic conditions.

Massage is a way of releasing muscles that are not able to release themselves, using a range of techniques to balance muscle, soft tissue and fascia. At a deeper level it also helps to regulate the nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems, and the difference in the horse is noticeable, even after one session.
